There’s just under a month to go in the consultation period for the four Defra-led draft fisheries management plans (FMPs).

Fishermen and other stakeholders have already started sharing their views, and there’s still plenty of time to get involved during April.

These events give you the chance to:

  • meet the team who wrote the plans
  • ask questions
  • tell us what you think about the proposals

Anyone interested in these FMPs is welcome – including commercial fishermen, recreational anglers, people working in marine conservation, and anyone who works around the coast.

Your experience will help shape the final plans, which will be published later this year.

Have your say

Your feedback matters. It helps us make sure the plans are fair, workable, and support:

  • healthy fish stocks
  • strong and resilient coastal communities

Please attend an event to give your feedback or take part in the consultations before 5 May.
