Book your place on one of our consultation events

Last week we launched consultations on our next five draft FMPs. 

We’re happy to now announce dates for our consultation events- where the fisheries management plans team will be available to talk about these plans in more detail.

Join us to share your views on the draft plans and feed them into the consultations. 

At events before 21 November, there will also be an opportunity to feed in views about the consultation about amending the FMP deadlines.


Our teams will be at the following locations over the next couple of months to talk about the FMP/s listed: 

  • Tuesday 29 October - Lowestoft - North Sea and Channel sprat FMP 
  • Thursday 31 October - Carnforth - Cockle FMP 
  • Monday 4 November - Sutton Bridge - Cockle FMP 
  • Wednesday 6 November - Hartlepool - Southern North Sea demersal non-quota FMP 
  • Monday 11 November - Shoreham - Southern North Sea and Channel skates and rays FMP 
  • Friday 15 November - Whitstable - Southern North Sea demersal non-quota FMP and Southern North Sea and Channel skates and rays FMP 
  • Monday 18 November - Leigh on Sea - Cockle FMP and North Sea and Channel sprat FMP 
  • Tuesday 19 November - West Mersea - Southern North Sea demersal non-quota FMP and Southern North Sea and Channel skates and rays FMP 
  • Tuesday 26 November - Brixham - North Sea and Channel sprat FMP and Southern North Sea and Channel skates and rays FMP 
  • Wednesday 27 November - Newlyn - Southern North Sea and Channel skates and rays FMP 
  • Monday 2 December – Poole - Cockle FMP 
  • Monday 2 December – Poole - Southern North Sea and Channel skates and rays FMP (for recreational fishers)
