A calendar displaying May 5th rests on a wooden table, highlighting the date against a natural wood background.

Our final events for the four fisheries management plans (FMP) being consulted on have now taken place.

Thank you to everyone who attended and shared their views. Your experience and knowledge are important, and your comments are helping to shape the final plans.

There is still time to respond

You can still take part in the consultations until 11:59pm on 5 May.

You can tell us whether you agree with the proposals, or where you think changes are needed. Responses can be submitted online, by email, or by post.

Why your response matters

These consultations are an opportunity for you to help shape and influence future fisheries management. Every response is read and considered before the FMPs are finalised for publication, which will be at the end of this year.

Your feedback helps us develop plans that work in practice to support sustainable fisheries.

Clear, evidence-based comments are especially helpful. They tell us what matters most to you and help make sure the plans are practical and workable at sea.
